The boys have enjoyed their weekends here - even participating in the local 'Duck Day' despite the rain! They thoroughly enjoyed that with the eldest winning me a bottle of wine on the tombola, (while I won a bottle of soft drink and a tin of apricots - typical)!! Just a shame that the weather wasn't better for that. We didn't even stay long enough for the launching of the ducks down the river, (plastic ones, that is) so never got a chance to win the £50 prize money though our landlady did well and got 4th place to win a tenner. :)
Work's going well, the boss is off on Mondays now while his partner has Fridays off and now he's talking about having two weeks off later this month. I've told him that when he comes back I'll probably need a month off to get over the stress of being in charge! lol Mind you, his partner was joking today that I'd probably pay to come to work, (yes, I do LOVE my job and I thoroughly enjoy going to work)!! When he finally gets around to giving me a pay rise I'll be even happier! ;)
