I know, I promised to post once a week but you've got to cut me some slack already - Friday evening was a rough start to my weekend what with one of work's trucks breaking down after delivering a load of free wood to my place - a good deed gone slightly askew!
Still, here I am and I'm looking forward to having the next two days off, my boss has 'ordered' me to chill out and not be running around like a headless chicken doing everything! lol I told him I'd have to book myself into a hotel for a couple of days in order for that to happen.
He's a good bloke/boss who has pandered to my liking for writing cheques to pay the suppliers with, (as opposed to paying by card over the phone) and has stocked me up with three brand new chequebooks, (at work, of course)!
The weather here has been excellent since the weekend and we hope it will hold for quite a while longer - it'd be nice to have a decent summer again, last year was a total washout.
Our lovely neighbours invited us for an impromptu barbie in their garden on Saturday evening which went on until we noticed the light dimming - the sun was setting and it was almost 10pm!!! We had a most enjoyable time with the lil man being well-chuffed at being allowed into the neighbour's children's tree house which had, up until then, been out of bounds for him.
Between that and getting my fave DVD through, (Little Miss Sunshine - highly recommended if you've not seen it yet) my Saturday wasn't so bad.

...From my previous post - the Hubster got his ILR through, dated the day before his FLR was due to run out! YAY!!!!!!
